Amrize Coquitlam Depots Maintenance Dredge

Fraser River Pile & Dredge Inc. on behalf of Amrize Canada Inc. proposes to carry out periodic maintenance dredging at the water lot generally fronting 2300 Rogers Avenue, Coquitlam, BC. Dredging is required to remove accumulated sediment and re-establish required depths for safe access of barges and support vessels. The applicant is seeking a multi-year permit to dredge periodically within the fish least risk window for the Fraser River. Works following the same work plan were last carried out in September 2025.

The Project consists of dredging approximately 8,000 cubic metres of material per year using a barge-mounted crane and clamshell bucket. The dredge footprint will be approximately 5,600 square metres with a dredge grade up to -5 metres local low water. Dredged materials will be loaded onto a barge for transport and disposal at an approved disposal at sea site, or to a suitable upland location for reuse or disposal as applicable. The proposed works are anticipated to take four days to complete per event.
