Pier 61 decommissioning

Trans Mountain Pipeline ULC (the Applicant) is proposing the removal of Pier 61, which is the old pier at the Westridge terminal. The Transmountain Expansion Project (PER 19-162) created three new berths at an entirely new pier to the west of Pier 61. The project will include the decommissioning and removal of existing foreshore process piping and equipment, electrical equipment, small structures on land and on the pier, vessel loading equipment, and the dock structure including cofferdams, walkways, trestles and piles. Removed equipment and material will be disposed of in accordance with relevant regulations.
