Construction Program for West Coast Depot, Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a program that includes four construction projects associated with the West Coast Depot, located at the Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt Colwood Property. The four projects are:

  • an Operations Building,
  • a Support Building,
  • a Security Kiosk Building and
  • a New Compound.

Latest update

July 17, 2024 - The Department of National Defence intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, the Department of National Defence is inviting public comments until August 5, 2024 respecting that determination.
