A Dedicated Space for Connection

Malahat Nation will construct a new cultural space to provide and safe and stable place for women, girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+ peoples to engage in cultural programming that serves them and is community-led. The new space will be approximately 1,800 square feet with a flexible set up.

May 4, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
