Location 3: Development of Borrow Pit and Access Roads- 5th Canadian Division Support Base, Gagetown

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. This Project involves the activities and components related to the development of a borrow pit on the north and south sides of an existing small access road near the edge of the Range Training Area, east of Central Blissville, and south of Mersereau Stream. The Project will provide required borrow for anticipated road upgrades in the southern part of the RTA. The project will include clearing and grubbing of the site, development of the borrow pit, and ongoing operation of the pit.


Latest update

February 19, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
