British Trench Trails

The project is for the development of a network of trails in the woodland and on the ridges of Fort Beauséjour-Fort Cumberland National Historic Site to interpret the British Entrenchments that are still visible. The proposed trail network will be approximately 3km in length and comprised of three loops. There will be a fully accessible loop of approximately 1.85km and the remainder of the path/loops will be footpaths that will be developed at a slightly lower standard to minimize impacts to existing earthworks.
