Higgins Shore Wharf Replacement

A 20 meter section of the wharf at Higgins Shore Harbour has fallen into a severe state of disrepair and is in need of replacement. The section to be replaced is an open faced structure with a timber pile frame and concrete deck. The project includes the complete removal of the 20 meter open face section of wharf and construction of a new timber fender face wharf with a steel H-pile frame and concrete deck. Up to 95 m3 of material may have to be excavated during the installation of the new structure, however the footprint will not be increased.
