FIXED AIDS TO NAVIGATION CAP-AUX-MEULES, WHARF FA-FP (NFL 1497-1498)

The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) wishes to proceed with the relocation of the Front Range Light (FA) and Rear Range Light (FP) from the Cap-aux-Meules wharf alignment (NLF 1497 - 1498) to the Magdalen Islands, Quebec.

The existing lights are installed on the Transport Canada (TC) Tanker Wharf. The future FA will be located on the Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) Small Craft Wharf, while the FP will be located on the TC Commercial Wharf.

Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Quebec Region must determine whether this project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To assist in an informed determination, Fisheries and Oceans Canada invites the public to comment on this determination within 30 days of the publication of this notice. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.
