New well installation, Greenwich Beach Complex in Prince Edward Island National Park

The current well for Greenwich beach complex has issues with coliform and minerals and needs replacement. It is located 750m south of the beach complex inside the maintenance compound, because of past electrical limitation which are no longer existent. A new well will be installed next to the complex, which will be more efficient by removing the need to pump water for 750m. The new well site will be accessed on the north side of the complex with a drill truck. Steel well casing will be installed. A pump will be installed and a trench will be needed from the new well casing to the beach complex. The current well will be decommissioned, as per industry standard. The existing water line from the compound to the complex will remain in the ground.
