Keltic Road Infrastructure Upgrades (East)

Extensive infrastructure upgrades are needed at the eastern end of the Keltic In Road on the Middle Head peninsula in Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The proposed project includes work to underground and underground-to-surface infrastructure and above-ground to subsurface works, as outlined below.
Underground and underground to surface infrastructure:
· Force-main, sanitary sewer, sanitary services to buildings or other
· Electrical line
· Water-main, water services to buildings or other
· Control valves
· Storm sewer
· Storm outfalls
· Culverts
Above ground to subsurface:
· Manhole covers
· Fire hydrants
· Asphalt, roadway, parking areas, parking lots, other existing asphalt
· Concrete, curb, sidewalk, viewing area
· Realignments, roadways, land-bridge – retaining wall
· Light post relocations
Tree clearing for land-bridge / road realignments is also included.
