Potlotek First Nation Rapid Housing Subdivision

The Project includes the development of up to nine residential lots (approximately 1300m2 each), underground utilities to connect with existing municipal sewer and water systems; gravel driveways and culverts for each housing lot; a new gravel roadway (150m long x 20m wide), including ditches and culverts and overhead electrical services. Also included is the installation of a new waterline and a new sanitary sewer main to Simtuk Awti (Chapel Island Road) to connect the development to the existing municipal sewer and water system. The total development area for the lots and the road is approximately 15000m2.


Latest update

June 7, 2022 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
