Spencer Lane Water Tank - Eskasoni First Nation

The project will consist of the construction of a new water storage tank (1,900 m3 capacity) with new foundation and associated water distribution piping (640 m). Storage tank location will be off of Spencer Lane, near the existing water treatment building. New water piping from the existing water treatment plant will need to be installed up to the new tank and new outlet piping installed from the tank to tie into the existing water distribution system.

Project activities include site preparation (grubbing and grading); installation of new foundation for water storage tank, install new water storage tank and installation of new water transmission line.


Latest update

July 17, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
