Elsipogtog First Nation - Housing Recovery Phase 2

The project aims to remediate damages to 16 homes and properties caused by Spring flooding in 2018. Construction activities include the demolition of approximately 1700m2 of homes and 2450m2 of rebuilt homes. Other construction activities include lot re-grading and engineering controls to encourage water drainage and prevent future damage to foundations from water saturation.

Latest update

April 25, 2024 - Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
