Vegetation Management in the Static Range Impact Area - 5th Canadian Division Support Base, Gagetown

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. Vegetation management is necessary to reduce the fire risk around ranges and fuel breaks, allow for clear lines of site into the impact areas, clear out vegetation from ranges and reduce vegetation to allow unexploded explosive ordnance (UXO) activities to take place. Means of vegetation management will be site specific and/or could include mulching, burning, mature tree removal and/or use of herbicide.
