Heating Conversion, Canadian Forces Housing Agency, Halifax Regional Housing Site - Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Halifax

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing to convert two existing summer hot water boilers from oil to natural gas and remove and dispose of existing underground oil storage tanks at the Canadian Forces Housing Agency Halifax Regional Housing Site at Canadian Forces Base Halifax, Windsor Park, Halifax. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of existing oil-fired burners with natural gas burners, removal of existing oil piping system to existing oil fired boilers, provision of new natural gas piping from utility meter to mechanical room boilers, complete with all required system components, and the removal of two existing 25,000 litre underground storage tanks. The work is proposed to begin Spring 2023.
