Reconfigure South Side Entrance at 8 Wing Trenton, Trenton Ontario

The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing the reconfiguration and reconstruction of the South Side Entrance, Anson Avenue at Old Highway 2 intersection. This work includes vehicle inspection lay-bys, parking lot reconfiguration, as well as roadway and parking area lighting. This work also includes High Security retractable anti-ram barricades, security gates, security bollards, guard house and associated power communications and lighting requirements. In result of these reconfiguration requirements, vegetation and tree removal along Anson Avenue is required.

October 6, 2020 – The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
