MBQ - Phase IV Watermain Extension

The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte (MBQ) Territory is located in eastern Ontario along the northern shores of the Bay of Quinte, south of Highway 401, approximately 20 km east of Belleville. The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Territory encompasses 7,275 hectares of land with approximately 20 km of shoreline along the banks of Telegraph Narrows and Hungry Bay. The new watermain extension is proposed along Old Highway #2, Ionas Road, Shannonville Road, Gussy's Lane and Cedar Glenn Road.The total proposed watermain extention is 2,075m which will be sized for fire protection.

Notice of  Determination 

January 24, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
