Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte - Elder Care Home

The purpose of the project is to construct a First Nation long term care home in the local community to provide personal care and comfort to growing elderly population who currently face language and cultural challenges when having to leave the community. Services will include 24-hour nursing and personal care, activities, laundry, food services and administration.


Latest update

August 18, 2023 - Infrastructure Canada and the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation issued their Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
