Septic Tank Replacement at Messines Post Office

Canada Post is proposing to replace the existing septic tank system at the Messines Post Office, located in Messines, Quebec, with a holding tank system.  Project works will include site preparation, excavation, decommissioning of existing septic tank and removal of all sewage waste, installation of new tank and field, and revegetation work, as required.

March 10, 2023 – Canada Post intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Canada Post is inviting public comments until April 10, 2023 respecting that determination.
