YUL Montreal-Trudeau International Airport- Extension of taxiways B and P

The project consists in the implementation of two taxiways along the North Runway (06L-24R): taxiways B and P. In order to maintain its facilities to reliability and safety standards, ADM must proceed with the reconstruction of a section of the apron and of taxiway F. However, taxiway F is frequently used by aircraft to taxi between the apron and the North Runway (06L-24R). The implementation of taxiways B and P as substitutes for taxiway F will allow aircraft to circulate while the work on the apron and taxiway F is being carried out. The project will be carried out over several years: 2024: first section of taxiway B; 2025: second section of taxiway B and taxiway P; Later: reconstruction of a section of the apron and taxiway F. The new taxiways will maintain the fluidity of airport operations and will minimize the impact on both passengers and airlines operating at YUL while allowing the necessary rehabilitation work to be carried out on the main apron.
