Redevelopment of the Canest Transit inc. terminal

The objective of the project is to improve grain processing capacity, optimize operational space and increase container storage capacity.

The project will take place at the Atelier 42 (3800 Notre-Dame Est Street) and at Camest Transit inc. terminal (3700 Notre-Dame Est Street) and include the following work:

  • Demolition and relocation of electrical substation.
  • Reconstruction and expansion of the Atelier 42 employees' parking lot
  • Reconstruction and expansion of the terminal storage area.
  • Construction of a stormwater outlet.
  • Reconstruction of a level crossing.
  • Renovation of the Atelier 42 yard.

No work are required in the wetlands or water bodies.

The work will be carried out from summer 2023 until spring 2026.
